The plot thickens, there is an encounter on the beach and more fun and games.
This is a sort of search and discover newsletter of my findings of things that may relate to technology in one way or another. It might be the latest gosh wow tech, it might be something as old of humanity. It might relate to science large or small. It might be art for art’s sake. Or somebody just doing something funky. Because I think that technology is just the representation of human creativity and breaking boundaries. So I’m certainly not going to place boundaries here except that it won’t be the same old, same old. So almost no gadgets or yacking about the latest phone or whatever, unless of course it involves taking them apart or destroying them in unusual ways. Or putting them to work in imaginative ways that most people won’t even think of. So buckle up, it’s going to be a fun ride.
This week: some old school swiss mountain railroading, Moving the New Jersey’s old guns, a big elephant, epic farming and more
Sorry about the long gap between Chapter 29 and this one. This Chapter was supposed to end the Tom and Chrissie story arc and it went very long. So we start off with Tom’s rather busy week as he shuts down the office and goes down to the Cape for a romantic Swim with Chrissie before the Olympics start.
Baen books had a contest and they wanted a one hundred word story about independence and monsters so I wrote up a little thing with Noro and Dori. Noro is telling Dori how he saved the Declaration, or Thomas Jefferson from a British spy vampire.
I had always wondered if my grandfather had traveled Japan as none of the slides I had were from Japan. That question was answered when my dad gave me a rather large slide case that, among other things was marked: Japan. The slide case had some wonderful pictures and I put some of them up on flikr. Enjoy.

Eric gave the Colonel an hour. He apparently decided to come back instead. Was it something he read?
