Wretched Excess

In Bourbon France, the king and the nobles used to create elaborate meals with exotic ingredients from exotic and distant locations to demonstrate how cultured and wealthy they were.  With modern transportation getting exotic ingredients has gotten “buggy.”

If somebody gave me at ticket to Tokyo to find a place to have lunch I think I could do better than eating bugs.
