A great article from the Director of Photography at Mythbusters. I imagine that it’s a complicated case of developing new ways to get the cameras in unusual places, getting the difficult shots and treating all cameras as expendable. And having one camera far back for the long shots for those BIG booms.
Adam Savage calls his shop, his cave. The cave is hidden, but you can find a tour if you know where to look. I play a game with myself trying to find it’s real location just based on hints in the video, but have failed miserably.
Joey Fameli of Tested.com made this great little documentary of Carmine St Guitars.
It’s a great little piece.
This is what he usually does.
Not that going around shooting Adam Savage is bad.
