The Long History Of Terrorism From The Left

The other day I was listening to Adam Savage’s podcast and he mentioned that there were no lockers in the railroad stations and airports in New York City because of 9/11.  Actually the lockers were pulled twenty years before 9/11 because somebody had put a bomb in one back in 1981.  Back then the terror problem wasn’t Islamists, but one leftist group or another creating chaos supported by  the KGB.

It’s been forgotten that terrorism actually started as something that was home grown by various “revolutionary” groups back in the 1970’s.  It’s not generally known that all of that was an effort by the KGB in an attempt to destabilize the West.  Carlos the Jackal and the rest have been largely forgotten.

As have the activities of groups like the SDS and their offshoots.  It was all fun for the spoiled rich kids running things, but other people got hurt.  I doubt that the like of Bill Ayers feel any empathy or remorse for their actions and their victims.

Now terrorism has been a lefty and Democrat tactic in this country going back to the KKK, but somehow it never sinks in that leopards don’t change their spots. It seems like every election cycle that I can remember the violence is brought out, the windows smashed and the innocent beat up.  Along with the looting and burning. Only the names of the groups committing the acts change.

It also seems that high level Democrats always seem to forgive the people who do the terror.  For instance, the Clintons pardoning Puerto Rican terrorists, probably some of the same ones responsible for the JFK pipe bomb.  What does it take to believe that pardoning Communist terrorists will gain you the support of the community that might be their next victims.  Of course with the Soviet Union gone, that terror source has evaporated.

Still the old activists aren’t giving up.  They have started again, this time working even closer than the past with the top of the Democrat party.  That should be no surprise as both Hillary and Obama are student of Alinsky and his methods.

Creamer is a longtime Alinskyite activist and a leader in Obama’s old community organizing network. Creamer was a key figure in the work of Chicago’s community organizer training center, the Midwest Academy, to which Obama had close ties. I write extensively about the hard-left ideology and hardball tactics of the Midwest Academy, and Creamer’s role at the center of it all, in my political biography of President Obama, Radical-in-Chief (see Chapter 5, esp. 144-45; 186-88). The Midwest Academy was founded by die-hard socialists who had once been part of the radical 60s SDS (Students for a Democratic Society). An influential figure in Saul Alinsky’s early Chicago operations, Creamer worked with the Midwest Academy’s founders to persuade young socialist revolutionaries in the 70s to adopt a more “pragmatic” Alinskyite stance. In other words, Creamer helped persuade these young revolutionaries to organize, and provide quiet socialist guidance, to movements that were liberal in appearance, yet radical in their ultimate intentions and effects. While retaining his ties to the Midwest Academy, Creamer rose to become a prominent Democratic strategist and, as numerous reports have indicated, a frequent visitor to the Obama White House. Creamer was an important early advocate of what we now call the healthcare “public option,” an idea that appears to have been at least partially inspired by one of the Midwest Academy’s earlier organizing campaigns. In Radical-in-Chief, and in my follow up, Spreading the Wealth (see Chapter 3, esp. pp. 59-63), I show how Obama played public good cop during his days in the Illinois legislature, while coordinating behind the scenes with Alinskyite allies who used questionable voter registration tactics, and even intimidated Obama’s Republican legislative rivals at their homes. Given the latest videos, it’s hard not to wonder how much of this sort of thing is going on today, and perhaps with some of the same players as in Obama’s Illinois years. If the upshot of these new videos holds up to scrutiny, it would show that Saul Alinsky is alive, well and living inside the beating heart of the Democratic Party. Obama inaugurated the era of Alinskyite hardball at the presidential level, and Hillary’s campaign organization would at least appear to be carrying on. If anything, our community organizers have gotten bolder. Nor is the media any more interested in scrutinizing the questionable tactics of the Democrats’ Alinskyite strategists or ground troops than it’s been for the past eight years.

This isn’t a one time thing for this election.  this sort of thing has been going on for decades. Every time the people behind these “protests” train people and implant people to step over the line, destroy property and hurt people.

Architect Behind Violent 1999 WTO Riots Is Holding Mass Training Sessions in #Ferguson

They were active at the RNC in 2008, including injuring people in my state’s delegation by pouring bleach on them.

So now they are doing the same thing again.  The violence and attempted terror.  The old gang trying one last time to beat the country into submission.

This time though, they have been caught.  Not by a FBI that has cravenly given up it’s law enforcement  responsibilities when Democrats are involved or by an investigative report from a big city newspaper. Instead these people have been exposed by a bunch of more or less volunteers at great risk to themselves doing the job that the mainstream media will not.

An administration is not just the President. It’s the entire team that’s behind the President.  Well now we know what Hillary’s team looks like.  These are the people that will be selected as administration operative if she wins. Between the WikiLeaks of the various emails and the Veritas videos we have gotten a good look at the rot and corruption that is the current Democrat Party.  The thing to think about is if these people are willing to go to these lengths to gain power, what are they going to do once they have it?  And how much will that cost the rest of us when the time comes to get rid of them?
